DCC02 – Diver Control Container
Diver control containers on client specifications. The DCC02 can be built in any type of configuration and size.
The DCC is a complete 2 diver air/Nitrox diving control container for diving up the 50 m water depth, it is IMCA compliant and Lloyds witnessed. The container is divided in 3 compartments. The control compartment is fully isolated. The front compartment has the main entrance door to the middle compartment, the control room. The front compartment also contains the umbilical brackets with umbilical’s, Bailout sets and a helmet cabinet including Kirby Morgan SL27 helmets.
The middle compartment contains the main diver control console. The diver console has a diver gas panel, a 2 diver communication unit with video & light control and recording, a 15” and a 21,5” monitor and a marine VHF. The system is connected with a PC with video software. Also inside this compartment you will find an air-conditioning unit, smoke detection system, cabinet with complete MAD-B-DMAC15 set, heater, a sitting bench which also contains 2 Emergency Breathing Apparatus, Fire extinguisher.
The third compartment which is accessible from the backside of the container, is the engine/storage room. This compartment contains a high pressure compressor, 4x 140 litre/300 Bar bottles, heater, workbench, fan, High Pressure switch panel, and Fire extinguisher.

The diver air panel is a 2 diver air panel with a HP inputs, built into the control panel cabinet. Diver depth is displayed on 2x digital diver depth gauges. The O2 value is displayed on 2x digital gas analysers together with an air flow meter. The analysed air is guide to the outside of the container. All air input and output pressure are displayed on 2,5” gauges. The necessary valves lets you select the air flow. The diver supply pressure is monitored with a low pressure audible alarm. All connections are behind the panel.
The standard Novasub SCU-2DRVL is built in the control panel cabinet. This unit is a 2 divers communication system with integrated video camera and LED light control. The video is recorded with the SCU-PCDVR-04 and backup on the SCU-DVR2-4CH a system which can record and control up to 4 channels with cameras & lights. This will all be displayed on a 15”and a 21,5” monitor. And an extra standby Diver 15” monitor mounted outside.
All systems are connected to each other with a 19” rack PC (SCU-PCDVR-04) via Novanet (a bus system). On the SCU-PCDVR-04 is Pontus installed. Pontus DVR software is a video live-viewing, recording and streaming software with camera & light control. Extra data from external sensors can be displayed in the software combined with the video channel. For examples the DDG (Diver Depth Gauges) and DGA (Diver Gas Analyzers).
This container has a specially designed panel with, marine VHF communication, LED light control and pump controls.
The HP compressor is a 300 bar, 250 l/min compressor which is connected to the 4x 140 litre air buffer. The compressor switches automatic off when the filling pressure is reached. HP Distribution and switching device for filling of 4 x 140 liter cylinders and switching between air with clear lines and text.
The main power supply connector is at the side of the container and is a 4 pins 400 V CEE 32A male connector. In general the containers operates at 3 phase 400 Vac 50Hz and can be also supplied with the N for extra 230 Vac power. The main switch panel has a built in transformer for converting 400 Vac to 230 Vac, 5 kW. The 230 Vac is internal used for the Diver radio and video systems, the lights, extra sockets and some controls.
The Engine room has an automatic Fan for air cooling of the compartment. The engine and control room has a 1 kw heater to keep the engine room temp. above the 10 degrees. The control room has an air conditioning unit with a cooling capacity of 5.0 kW, a heating capacity 5.8 kW and a built in thermostat.
