Bar100 High-Resolution 1000m Depth/Pressure Sensor

 

This pressure sensor can measure up to 100 Bar (1000m depth) with a depth resolution of 3 cm. It is waterproof and ready to install.

The Bar100 pressure sensor is a high-pressure underwater pressure sensor that is sealed from the water and ready to install in a watertight enclosure on your ROV, AUV, or other project. This sensor can measure depths down to 1000 meters, so you can go deeper than ever before!

The sensor is the Keller LD Series pressure/temperature sensor with I2C communication. It has a pressure resolution of 3 mbar, providing a depth measurement resolution of 3 cm in the water column! It operates on 3.3V I2C voltage but can accept power input up to 5.5V, just like the Bar30. It comes standard with a 4-pin DF13 connector that is compatible with most autopilots including the PixHawk and others.

This sensor includes a temperature sensor accurate to ±2°C, with data also accessible through I2C. If you need something with more temperature accuracy, please check out the Celsius Temperature Sensor.

The anodized aluminum body was designed around the cable penetrator design and is compatible with all of the watertight enclosures.

This sensor is fully supported in ArduSub and works on the BlueROV2. We also have Arduino and Python libraries available below to make this sensor as easy to use as possible! Please make sure that if you use it with a 5v board, such as the Arduino, that you use a Level Converter.

Bar30 High-Resolution 300m Depth/Pressure Sensor

This pressure sensor can measure up to 30 Bar (300m depth) with a depth resolution of 2mm. It is waterproof and ready to install.

The Bar30 pressure sensor is a high-pressure, high-resolution pressure sensor that is sealed from the water and ready to install in a watertight enclosure on your ROV or AUV. With 0.2 mbar resolution, it has an amazing depth measurement resolution of 2mm in the water column!

The sensor is the Measurement Specialties MS5837-30BA, which can measure up to 30 bar (300m/1000ft depth) and communicates over I2C. It operates on 3.3V I2C voltage but can accept power input up to 5.5V. It comes standard with a 4-pin DF13 connector that is compatible with most DroneCode compatible boards including the APM2.6, PixHawk, and others.

This sensor includes a temperature sensor accurate to ±1°C, with data also accessible through I2C. If you need something with more temperature accuracy, please check out the Celsius Temperature Sensor.

Celsius Fast-Response, ±0.1°C Temperature Sensor (I2C)

This high-accuracy, fast-response temperature sensor comes sealed and ready to use for temperature profiling, lab measurements, and more!

The Celsius temperature sensor is a fast-response, high-accuracy temperature sensor that is sealed from the water, protected by an aluminum cage, and ready to install in a watertight enclosure. Use it to make depth/temperature profiles, surface temperature profiles, and accurate measurements in any fluid.

The sensor is the Measurement Specialties TSYS01, which is accurate to ±0.1°C and communicates over I2C. It comes standard with a 4-pin DF13 connector and compatible with most DroneCode compatible boards including the APM2.6, PixHawk, and others.

The TSYS01 sensor itself has a fast time response and we designed the whole package to maintain that speed to allow accurate temperature profile measurements even while descending/ascending quickly. The Celsius sensor has a response time constant of 1 second (with 0.5 m/s flow) and 2 seconds (in still water).

An anodized aluminum cage around the sensor protects it from damage. The body of the sensor is designed around the cable penetrator design and is compatible with all of the watertight enclosures.

Celsius Fast-Response, ±0.1°C Temperature Sensor (PCB)

This board-level version of the Celsius Temperature Sensor can be tightly integrated into projects or used in dry environments.

The Celsius temperature sensor is a fast-response, high-accuracy temperature sensor. We have a sealed and protected version available here, but this unsealed board-level version is great for integrating directly into projects and for use in dry environments.

The sensor is the Measurement Specialties TSYS01, which is accurate to ±0.1°C and communicates over I2C. It operates on 3.3V I2C voltage but can accept power input up to 5.5V. It includes four solder pads for ground, 3.3V-5.5V power, and 3.3V I2C lines.

The TSYS01 sensor itself has a fast time response and we designed the whole package to maintain that speed.

I2C Level Converter

The I2C Level Converter allows you the run 3.3v logic sensors like the Bar30 or Celsius and other accessories off of a 5v logic device like the Arduino Uno!

A selectable solder jumper lets you run 5v or 3.3v power to your sensor, independent of the 3.3v I2C logic. Built in four pin DF13, Dronecode Mini standard JST-GH, and 0.1″ header pin connectors provide maximum flexibility and ease of use.
